Chipotle is My Life.

I love Chipotle. I am like every other millennial who seemingly can't live without it, and I eat there way more than I would like to admit.

If you have ever been to Chipotle you know that the lunch line is ridiculous. Sometimes the line extends so far back that you have to enter the exit door just to get to end of the line. On Monday I needed my Chipotle fix, so I got online to place an order. Done and done. As I walked inside to pick up my meal, I marveled at how many people were willing to wait in line for a burrito. There were no less than forty people in line, and it was steadily growing. What was more amazing to me was the fact that no one was in the pick-up line. I was in and out of that building in less than five minutes, and quite a few people stared at me with a look of amazement. I stared back at them with a look of, "you can do this too."

Chipotle Order Ahead is like God's favor. (Yes - this is what I thought about while waiting for my order, and yes I went there.) It's freely given and accessible to everyone; you've just got to take hold of it. All of God's children are his favorites, and He longs to pour his favor on you. His favor is not like favor from man. We don't have to earn it. We became heirs of the promise when we accepted Jesus into our hearts. Each of us can walk straight to the front of line and ask Jesus for what we need.

Sometimes I'm afraid to ask God for things. I'm not sure where the fear comes from, but way too often I'm willing to figuratively wait in the long Chipotle line instead of walking right to the front of the line to receive what God wants to give me.

Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.
— Hebrews 4:16

We are God's children, and we have access to both His presence and His promises. All we have to do is seek Him; he won't disappoint you! Approach Him with confidence! FAVOR is on your life!
